Hi, I’m Taylor (or you can call me Tay)!

I’m a hairstylist providing cut and color services inside the Arlington Hair Shop in Gladstone, Oregon. I also offer mobile styling services for weddings and events throughout the Pacific Northwest.

One of the many reasons I chose a career in the beauty industry is that I have always truly loved the ritual of “getting ready”. You know the feeling- Those precious few minutes in front of the mirror every morning. It’s not about always having to look done up. It’s about investing time and energy into making sure you show up for the day in a way that you’re proud of.

Though I’ve been a licensed professional for over 8 years, I’ve had a passion for hair for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I was a dancer and also performed with a local theatre company and some of my favorite memories are from time backstage with my friends doing hair and makeup before the shows.

I spent the first few years of my career focused on cutting and coloring skills, then in 2020 made a bit of a “pandemic pivot” and jumped into the world of mobile bridal styling!

I have always loved styling and creating braids and updos, I had no idea how much I would enjoy the environment at weddings. If you’ve heard the phrase “it takes a village” to raise a child- It most certainly takes a village to help support a bride on her Big Day. It is truly such an honor to be even a small part of such a special day, and I will never take for granted the level of trust my brides have in me.

When I’m not working you can usually find me in the kitchen! Home made food is my love language, and my ideal day off always involves a trip to Trader Joes, followed by quality time with my boyfriend, my dog and my extended family.
